NOW probably you, like me, had never heard of Siegburg.
If you look it up on www.siegburg.de you will see that their slogan is "The discovery town", which is true!
EVIAN is famous for its bottled mineral water, which is sold all over the world, but there's much more to it than just water.
The town is draped elegantly along the south shore of Lac Leman, the lake that separates France from Switzerland, and has a fresh, open, airy feel, its stylish hotels piled one above the other up the hill that rises directly from the lake side.

SOME parts of Europe are doing considerably better than others, and these are the small countries.
In an increasingly global society we forget that there are autonomous places like Andorra, Monaco and Luxembourg who are proudly, confidently, quietly and very successfully going about being wealthy and respecting their own unique traditions. Another is San Marino.
