There has been a huge voter turnout in Moray. Turnout has been confirmed at 85.4%. A total of 64,205 people have voted.

By 12.30am the numbers of voters at the Greenwards, Mansfield and New Elgin Hall polling stations in Elgin has already exceeded those all day in May's European elections.

A CELEBRATION has taken place to mark the end of a Moray appeal which raised more than £140,000 to refurbish the children's ward at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin.
