RUNNING man Simon Clark has received a hero’s welcome home.
Simon, who lives in Kinloss, completed his15-month charity trek around Britain’s coastline on his 58th birthday yesterday.
Among the many greeting him back was Liz Clark, who secretly travelled up to Moray to surprise her little brother and say well done in person.
It was the first time the siblings had met since eight months ago, when his coastal run passed near her Norfolk home.
She described his run as “utterly bonkers but completely brilliant”.
Since setting off from Findhorn in March last year, Simon has covered 5168 miles around the edges of Scotland, Wales and England.
