A PAIR of Buckie school friends have made it to the live shows in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and are hoping to win your votes tonight (Monday).
Emmy-Jo Munro (15) and Jodi Riddoch (16) form part of the country dance act CountryVive, which won the judges’ backing during their April 12 audition.
On Sunday night, 200 acts were whittled down to just 40 to progress through to the live stages.
As they faced the panel of Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams, Cowell stated: "You know the score: 200 acts and we have 40 places left. We went through the tapes and we’ve made a decision on whether you should make the final 40 or not."
Walliams continued by saying: "It is very difficult for us to make a decision, particularly an unanimous one. We’ve had such a high standard this year, but we have made a decision. I’m so sorry, we are sending you home... to go and work on your acts."
CountryVive, made up of 18 line dancers from across the UK, will appear in tonight's first live semi-final, battling it out for the talent show crown, the chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance and £250,000. The show kicks off at 7.30pm on ITV.
