POLICE are investigating the sudden death of a woman in Buckie yesterday.
Officers are treating the death of the 63-year-old at Buckpool as unexplained.
Police Scotland along with the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to Land Street at around 7.30pm yesterday after the woman was found injured.
She was taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin but later died.
Enquiries are at an early stage and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, in particular from 7.15-7.30pm, and has information which they think could assist officers in establishing the woman’s movements prior to being taken to hospital should contact police on 101.
