POLICE are appealing or information after a vehicle was damaged on a Lossiemouth street.

The rear windscreen of a Renault car parked on Dean Terrace was shattered during the incident, which took place between 4.30-5.30pm on Monday.

Constable Paul Thompson said: "It is unusual for an incident of this nature to occur in this part of the town, especially on a weekday afternoon."

He added he was particularly keen to speak to an older man with the buggy who made the owner aware of the damage.

Anybody with information should contact Grampian Police on 0845 6005700 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 anonymously.
