AN ALLEGED drugs find by a three-year-old in the grounds of a family-friendly Moray pub has left the youngster’s family horrified.
It is claimed that the boy went to pick up a wrap of white powder in the beer garden of the Cooperage bar in Elgin’s town centre earlier this month.
A spokesperson for the Smith & Jones pub confirmed that a "suspicious package" was handed in by a customer on September 1, but said the bar operates a zero-tolerance policy and company procedure was followed.
The partner of the three-year-old’s mother, who asked not to be named, expressed fears that the boy could easily have consumed the drugs, with potentially fatal consequences.
