CHRISTMAS is coming but there is still time to make it a happier one for youngsters and senior citizens across Moray.
The annual Toy and Food Appeal organised by ‘The Northern Scot’ in conjunction with the social work department at Moray Council is again proving a great success.
Co-ordinator Linda Kay said that staff had been overwhelmed by the generosity shown by members of the Moray public.
A huge number of cash donations have been made this year which will be used to buy toys, so that even more children can benefit at Christmas.
Linda said: "We can’t thank people enough for the festive spirit they have shown in backing our appeal."
You have until Friday, December 20 at noon to make a donation to the appeal. Toys, games, puzzles, CDs, DVDs, toiletries and non-perishable food items are all desperately needed.
Children of all ages will receive a present for Christmas, with senior citizens getting a boost of a festive food treat.
