Police condemn Keith crime
POLICE are seeking information after a "deplorable crime" was carried out against an elderly man.
Thieves stole a three figure sum of money from his house in Land Street, Keith.
The crime was carried out between 1-2pm last Wednesday.
Four young men in a dark green car, had offered to carry out some repairs to his roof.
Police are anxious to trace the men in order to eliminate them from their enquiries.
Constable Steve Roberts said, "This is a deplorable crime against a vulnerable, elderly man.
"Residents should be very careful when accepting offers of work to their homes by anonymous individuals."
