AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a man sustained serious injuries in Elgin.
Grampian Police are making inquiries in the Kingsmills area of Elgin after the 34-year-old man was found seriously injured in the early hours of this morning.
The man, who has not been named, was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin and his injuries are being treated as unexplained at this time.
Officers were called to the scene in the Kingsmills estate at about 2.10am.
A police cordon had been thrown around the house as officiers carried out examinations at the scene.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone in or around the Kingsmills at that time.
