A SEX predator who posed as a teenage boy on Facebook to persuade a 15-year-old girl to expose her breasts to him has been spared a jail sentence.
Instead, Kevin Innes (30) will be supervised by social workers as part of a three year community payback order.
He was also placed on the sex offenders register for three years and is subject to a sexual offenders prevention order, which bans him from contacting girls under the age of 16 and restricts his use of the internet.
Innes appeared in Elgin Sheriff Court yesterday (Thursday) for sentencing. The case had been deferred for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report and Innes had been remanded in custody pending the preparation of that report.
He cried as his defence agent Ian Cruickshank and Sheriff Susan Raeburn discussed sentencing.
