RAF Kinloss
THE ensign at RAF Kinloss will be lowered for the final time today at the base is officially handed over to the Army.
A short ceremony will take place from 11.30am, which will formally end the 73-year relationship between the RAF and the local community.
Just after 12noon the Army will raise its flag and RAF Kinloss will become Kinlosss Barracks, home of 39 Engineer Regiment.
