MORAY’S MSP is calling on eligible organisations to apply for the latest round of Coastal Communities Funding (CCF).
A UK-wide programme delivered by the Big Lottery Fund, CCF is aimed at projects which promote sustainable economic growth and jobs in the tourism, fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
This year, according to Moray MSP Richard Lochhead, the focus is on job creation.
Money is available to support coastal communities achieve regeneration and economic growth, he said.
"I am glad to see applications being accepted for this latest round of Coastal Communities Funding, which helps to support the fisheries and tourism industries," Mr Lochhead continued.
"I would encourage any and all eligible groups in the area to apply for CCF, and continue to promote sustainable economic growth and jobs in Moray. Moray has not had any grants from the CCF fund previously, which is all the more reason our communities need to try to take advantage of the opportunity."
