FIVE yachts have been targeted during a series of break-ins at Lossiemouth harbour.
Police are investigating after the boats were hit some time between last Wednesday (January 16) and Friday.
As a result of the incident, according to investigating officer Constable Brian Dick, five yachts were broken-into and a torch was stolen.
Constable Dick said: "This has caused distress to the owners of the yachts who all take pride in their upkeep.
"This is an unusual crime and I would appeal to anyone with information, or has knowledge of who is responsible for this crime, to come forward."
