FOUR people have been arrested after an injured man was found in his Buckie home.
The 66 year old was taken to hospital following the incident in a house on Blantyre Terrace on Tuesday, July 10.
Two men aged 30 and 16 and two women aged 42 and 41 have been charged in relation to the incident.
They are all expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today.
Detective Inspector Stewart Mackie from Grampian Police, who is leading the investigation, said: "We very much appreciate the assistance of the local community in finding those responsible for this crime.
"Officers will continue to work in the Buckie area over the next few days whilst we complete our investigation.
"I would continue to appeal to anyone who may have information in relation to this crime to come forward".
