A MORAY man who lost his mother to Huntington’s Disease is supporting a marathon running and cycling challenge around the UK.
David Nicol is part of the support team for the ‘Kris King Coasthunting for a Cure HD’ challenge.
Kris set off from Blackpool last week, and aims to run 12 marathons and complete 22 100-mile cycle runs in a 34-day period.
David (39), who is originally from Aberlour and still has family in the Speyside area, lost his mum, Margaret (54), to Huntington’s – which attacks the central nervous system – six years ago.
Kris is set to run from Nairn to Fochabers on Friday.
