WORKS to repair a leaking school roof are complete, councillors have heard.
Problems at Lossie High’s performance hall came to a head earlier this year when foul smelling water began spilling into the building.
Calls were made for urgent action, with works getting underway over the summer months.
Asked for an update at a meeting of the children and young peoples services committee, educational resource manager Nick Goodchild said: "I’m pleased to say that the works to the guttering are complete."
Anti-gull netting is in place to stop birds from nesting on the surface, which exacerbated the problem, members heard.
Mr Goodchild said there had been no reports of further leaking since the repair, despite recent heavy rainfall.
