A DELAYED report on the future of swimming pools, football pitches and sports halls has gone before a cross-party group.
The review of Moray’s leisure facilities was considered by the Area Based Review steering group, consisting of Councillors Anne Skene, Douglas Ross, Aaron McLean and Barry Jarvis this week.
A spokesman for the Moray Council said: “A meeting was held on Wednesday to consider the 330-page report, and further readings are planned.”
He added that the hefty document would go before the full council for consideration soon.
Community briefings were held in December and a survey, which attracted 1,690 responses, was launched in January.
The review had been scheduled for completion by the end of March.
