TRANSPORT Scotland has announced significant road improvements in Moray totalling £75,000.
The money will be divided between three projects aimed at improving bridges and drainage along the A96.
The work will take place in the coming weeks at Waulkmill Bridge, on the outskirts of Elgin, and also in and around the new Fochabers-Mosstodloch bypass.
Eddie Ross, North East Operating Company Representative with BEAR Scotland, said: "There may be some limited disruption during these works. However, we will do all we can to keep this to a minimum.
"The repairs to Waulkmill Bridge, in particular, have been scheduled to avoid the busy peak periods. The Fochabers and Mosstodloch bypass will not be affected by the works there."
The work is expected to be carried between March 26 and April 13.
