MORAY Council’s last remaining mobile library will now be visiting communities that have seen their libraries close.
Doors shut at Rothes, Portknockie, Findochty and Hopeman on November 30.
The closures formed part of the local authority’s budget cutting measurers, that also included taking a mobile library off the road.
A total of seven were earmarked to shut, but in a U-turn the Independent/Conservative administration decided to keep Dufftown, Burghead and Cullen open.
The four communities that lost their library provision will be incorporated into a six weekly rota beginning next month.
The mobile library will be in Seafield Square, Rothes on Friday, February 7 from 1pm to 4pm.
On Monday, February 17 from 1.30-2.30pm it will be in the Victoria Hotel car park in Portknockie before moving on to the Findochty Town Hall car park from 2.45-3.45pm.
In Hopeman it will be situated at the harbour from 9.15am until 12.15pm on Monday, February 24.
The library also carries a selection of audio books and DVDs.
