A LEAP of faith by 200 hardy souls is set to generate a massive boost for the Moray Friends of ARCHIE appeal.
That was how many people jumped into Burghead Harbour on Boxing Day in the traditional charity event.
The swimmers were supporting the appeal to refurbish the children's ward at Dr Gray's Hospital which is set to break the £100,000 mark with the money from the event.
The event was also raising money for cancer charity CLAN which has a base in Elgin and Maggies Cancer Care Centre, Inverness.
See 'The Northern Scot' print version next Friday for a picture special from the swim.
