BUDDING pop stars in Moray are being given a chance to sing for a place in TV talent show The Voice.
Early auditions for the next series of the BBC Saturday night programme will be held at Rock Academy Performing Arts in Lossiemouth next Friday (April 25).
It means Moray vocal talents could land an opportunity to impress the show’s star judges like Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and Will.i.am, and millions of TV viewers next year.
Rock Academy head of centre, Tish Tindall, said local singers will be able to spend ten minutes with a member of The Voice’s production team, during which time they can sing up to two songs to showcase their talents.
Anyone aged 16 or older on June 23 this year, either a soloist or duo who believe they have what it takes to apply for the show, can contact firstname.lastname@example.org to book their place in next week’s session.
Entrants must also have the right to live and work in the UK for over 20 hours per week.
