A MORAY distillery is raising a glass to its new £400,000 warehouse.
Knockdhu Distillery, near Keith, felt the effects of the cruel winter of 2010 when two warehouses were ruined by heavy snow causing their roofs to cave in.
Plans were then put in place to build a brand new warehouse in a traditional dunnage style, with eight months work finally completed in time for Saturday’s grand opening.
"It is very impressive," said distillery manager Gordon Bruce. "The feedback has been absolutely fantastic."
The new warehouse holds 1200 casks of whisky, only half the capacity of its two predecessors but build to meet demand.
Knockdhu is based at Knock, Banffshire, and distills the famous anCnoc whisky.
