A large number of groups and businesses will this week introduce themselves to personnel serving at Kinloss Barracks.
The businesses, social, voluntary and community groups will head to the barracks on Thursday as part of a ‘fresher’s day’ aimed at familiarising the 600 personnel with many of the organisations in the area.
Staff Officer Sel Williams said: "Most of our personnel and their families are new to the area.
"We’ve experienced a very warm welcome to Moray and our families are already saying what a great place it is.
"This event will be an excellent opportunity to further introduce personnel and their families to local clubs, societies and local employers and businesses. There are a wide range of activities available to local people, as new workers, members and also as volunteers."
