Moray police urge caution over business fraud

police scotland logoPOLICE in Moray are urging shopkeepers and business operators to be vigilant following several incidents of fraud.

According to officers, two men have been visiting shops and hotels in the area asking for change, and then use distraction techniques to make off with money.

Police are advising retailers in both Moray and Aberdeenshire to take caution with anyone asking to change notes.

Anyone with information is asked to phone Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if wishing to remain anonymous.
