A PUB that sits just a stone’s throw from the entrance to Gordonstoun School is going under the hammer.

The Duffus Inn is being sold by SVA Property Auctions this Wednesday, with a guide price of £120,000.

Comprising a bar, restaurant, beer garden, kitchen, cellar, and a two-bed cottage, it has been described as an "auction highlight".

Buyers are told: "Whilst the business has succumbed to recessionary pressures, the inn is just a mile away from Gordonstoun School and has tremendous potential to be re-positioned, perhaps as a gastro pub or wedding venue. There is also potential to convert the entire property to residential use."

The Inn is one of 26 lots up for grabs at the sale, which takes place at the Swallow Hotel, Glasgow, from 2pm.
