The trial of a man accused of murdering his wife is set to begin in April.

Mother-of-two Arlene Fraser (33) vanished from her home in Smith Street, Elgin, in April 1998.

Husband Nat Fraser (53) denies he strangled her or murdered her "by other means to the prosecutor unknown."

Judge Lord Bracadale ruled that the trial should begin on April 23 at the High Court in Edinburgh.
