THE chair of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) is to address Moray business leaders.
Nora Senior, the first woman chair in the organisation’s 64 year history, will be guest speaker at the Moray group’s annual meeting on Wednesday.
She will outline her vision for the future at the event in the Barn Bistro, Greenfields, Lhanbryde on Wednesday afternoon.
After taking up her appointment in January, she revealed that collaboration, connection and communication would be her three key aims.
"Each of these themes is important not only to our work in Scotland, but also to ensuring that we optimise SCC’s place in the worldwide Chamber of Commerce movement for the benefit of Scottish businesses and the Scottish economy," she said.
"Businesses in Scotland can deliver growth but improvements to the business environment are necessary to ensure that they can operate at full stretch," she added.
She said the Scottish Chambers network and membership is continuing to grow as businesses, both large and small, see the advantages of strengthening commercial connections and being effectively represented at Scottish, UK and European level."
