Police in Moray are appealing for information after the theft of four motorbikes between June 6 and June 14.

A Yamaha off-road motorbike was stolen from the Mosstodloch area overnight between June 13 and 14.

In a separate incident between June 6 and 7, police are investigating the theft of three Honda off-road motorbikes from a residential property in the Dufftown area.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Wilson said: "In both incidents, the motorbikes had been advertised for sale on social media sites and we are therefore urging the public to be aware and be mindful of following security measures when advertising items for sale online.

"Anyone who saw suspicious activity in these areas is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 810 of 14/06 and reference 2115 of 07/06 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous."
