POLICE are anxious to trace a man who has been missing for more then three days.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen 66 year old Sandy Gray.
He was last seen by his wife at home in Elgin at around 8am on Friday.
Mr Gray is described as being 5ft 8in in height and of medium build with short, grey receding hair.
Chief Inspector Willie Findlay, of the Aberdeenshire and Moray Division, said: "We would appeal to anybody who may have seen Sandy in the Boat o’ Brig area near to the River Spey or on the Speyside Way during the late morning and early afternoon of Friday, September 13.
"We have located the car that Sandy was using at the Boat o’ Brig car park beside the rail and road bridges over the Spey, which is often used by walkers, and appeal to anyone who may have seen a red Seat Ibiza motor vehicle with the registration plate SV09 NVM in the vicinity to come forward as it may help us trace Sandy’s movements on Friday afternoon.
"We are currently concentrating our search to the Boat o’ Brig area as there is the increasing fear that he may have fallen while out for a walk and become incapacitated."
Anybody who has knowledge of Mr Gray’s whereabouts or who may have seen him or the vehicle in the area on Friday, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0845 555111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
