PARENTS are being asked to sit up and take notice of a session later this month that will focus on safety issues surrounding child car seats.
Road safety advisors from Grampian Police will be holding a child car seat clinic at The Playbarn, near Lhanbryde, on Sunday May 27 from 10am-4pm.
Child car seat checks and information leaflets will be available free of charge.
Police say that last year in Moray, during three clinics, it was found that over 60% of car seats were incorrectly fitted.
Road safety advisor Lucy Cramb said: "This is a valuable opportunity for local people to have their seats checked for free as this check could save a child’s life."
