POLICE have appealed for witnesses following the theft of money from a Buckie take-away.
A low three-figure sum was taken from Spice of Life, on East Church Street, between 11pm on December 18 and 11.50am on December 19.
Inspector Colin Mowat said: “We would like to take this opportunity to remind businesses and home owners to take every measure to prevent themselves becoming a victim.
“This should including common sense measures including locking doors and windows and if possible not storing cash or valuable goods in premises overnight.”
