POLICE are investigating a car vandalism that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers said that as a result of the incident on Elgin’s Moss Street, at around 4am, the car’s roof was dented and the back windscreen was smashed.
Damage is estimated to be a three-figure sum.
Constable Michael Duncan, who is investigating the incident, said: "This is an unnecessary and mindless act which has had an effect on the owner who relies on the vehicle to get around, along with the financial burden of having it repaired.
"I would urge anyone with any information on the incident to contact the police."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
