POLICE are investigating after thieves took excavator parts from an area of woodland near Fochabers.
According to officers, the theft took place between Friday July 13 and Monday July 16.
A police spokesman said that as a result of the incident, mechanical parts from an excavator were stolen. They are valued at a four-figure sum.
