Police probe unexplained death of Elgin man

Police are investigating the death of Elgin's Stephen Horn at the weekend
Police are investigating the weekend death of Elgin's Stephen Horn.

POLICE are continuing their enquiries following the death of an Elgin man at the weekend.

Stephen Michael Horn (34) was found with serious injuries in the Kingsmills area of Elgin in the early hours of Friday morning. He died on Saturday.

A police spokesman said Mr Horn’s death is being treated as unexplained and is not regarded as suspicious at this time. A post mortem examination is set to be carried out, before a report is sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Officers were called to the address at Kingsmills at around 2.10am on Friday morning, and Mr Horn was then rushed to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin. However, he died later.
