PUBLIC concern over reckless driving in Keith has sparked a police operation tackling anti-social motorists.
Grampian Police carried out their Operation Kingdom in the Moray town on Friday and Saturday in response to a number of complaints received by residents.
Local policing officers at Keith dealt with a number of road traffic offences such as careless driving, speeding and causing excessive engine noise during their weekend of action.
Constable Kyle MacKinnon, who organised the operation, said the motorists who were identified for anti-social driving would be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"Our purpose this weekend was to clamp down on motorists who continue to drive irresponsibly, causing nuisance and putting lives at risk," he said.
"Our activities, which will continue in the future, will hopefully reduce the occurrence of anti-social driving and address concerns of the Keith community."
