Range of events at Moray libraries

A DIVERSE range of community events are being held at two Moray libraries.

Keith library plays host to a Banffshire Kronach Twinning Association event this Wednesday (October 31), where three members of the group – Elizabeth Copp, Susan Cameron and Lisa Bayliss – will give an illustrated talk on the link between Banffshire and Kronach in Bavaria at 7.30pm.

At the same venue, and the same time, Therese Poon from Forres will give a talk and demonstration covering her interest in Chinese medicine, acupuncture, qigong and Chinese tea ceremonies.

The focus turns to Buckie library on Saturday (November 3) and an open day called On Your Doorstep which is being held between 10am and 1pm.

It begins with a family history taster session, followed by a Made In Scotland themed storytime and a Doric session with members of the Buckie Blethers.

Representatives of the Buckie Fishing Heritage Centre and the Buckie BALL group will also be in attendance and the day will also feature a family treasure hunt.
