Music will start at 5.30pm, courtesy of DJ Ryan Johnston from Elgin, with Buckie band The Unofficial headlining tonight’s bill at 10pm.
Also playing tonight will be DJ Ryan Johnston, Sons o' the Soil, Wasted Jazz, Casey Inlet and DJ Kavari.
There will then be a full programme of music tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night, starting at 12.30pm with Lossiemouth acoustic act Josi and Toni, and again wrapping up just before 11pm with a set by Keith DJs Jack and Tom.
Billed as the largest free youth-focused music festival in Scotland, the Wall of Rock – which is now in its fifth year – has a history of attracting almost 1,000 young people each day.
Daniel Edwards, one of the organisers, said everything is now in place for the event which will take place along the seafront at Station Park.
He stressed, however, that the event is alcohol-free and there will be police presence to make sure that rule is strictly adhered to.
For more on The Wall Of Rock, including a full two-day line-up and the times each act will be playing, see today's 'Northern Scot' print version.
A full report from the event, and pictures, will be in next Friday's print edition.
