POLICE were advising drivers to take care on the roads this morning with snow and ice affecting roads across the region.
With fresh snowfall overnight, many routes are affected, and extended journey times are likely, said Grampian Police.
"We are advising everyone travels with extra caution," said a spokesman.

The Met Office was also issuing a snow and ice warning for the Highlands and Grampian areas.
Road and pavement gritters were out in force across Moray this morning to ease conditions for peple travelling to work and school.
