Theft from Buckie cemetery

POLICE are investigating a theft and vandalism at a Buckie cemetery.

Two glass vases were smashed, and a stone book and heart were stolen from a graveside, following the incident at the new cemetery on Barhill Road.

According to police, the theft and vandalism took place some time between Friday June 1 and Friday June 15.

Officers are keen to talk to anyone with knowledge of the incident, with people asked to phone Grampian Police on 0845 600 5700 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if wishing to remain anonymous.
