Thieves net large haul in Kingston

New Police Scotland logoTHOUSANDS of pounds of items, including gold jewellery and watches, have been stolen from a home in Kingston.

The theft happened some time between July 14 and when the householders returned last Saturday.

PC Karen Callinswood, who is investigating the incident, said: “It will have been very upsetting to suffer the loss of these valuable items.

“We are appealing to anyone with information which could assist us to get in touch.

“In particular we would ask anyone who is offered gold watches or chains for sale and is concerned as to where they may have come from to contact us.”

Police request the public ring 101, quoting incident number 856 of August 7.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
