LOSSIEMOUTH'S Wall of Rock Festival is less than a week away, and bands and acoustic musicians are now putting the finishing touches to their sets before taking to the stage next Friday and Saturday.
The third annual festival, which has free entry, takes place on September 7 and 8, and links to a number of the bands who will be playing are available below.
Team Kapowski are just one of acts returning after their successful slot in 2011.
And classifying last year’s appearance as one of their best shows so far, the three-piece outfit had no hesitation when it came to signing up for a repeat performance in 2012.
It is a strong endorsement for the Moray festival, by a band who have already this year played at RockNess and Belladrum.
"We were lucky enough to be asked to take part in last year’s amazing concert," enthused drummer David Hamilton, who is joined by singer Blair Stewart and guitarist Andy McMaster in creating the band’s catchy tunes.
"It was probably one of our favourite shows to date, and by far the most enthusiastic crowd. The lights and sounds of the gig are incredible. There’s a kind of an end-of-the-world vibe – lasers, smoke and bright, throbbing colours."
Wall of Rock features a main stage next Friday, when the music starts at 5.30pm.
There will be both an acoustic and main stage on Saturday, when the first musicians take to the stage at noon. The event, which showcases some of the best young talent in Moray and the surrounding area, finishes at 10.45pm on both nights.
