AN overnight wintry blast has created travel problems in Moray.
As a result of the weather conditions, Knockando Primary and Mortlach Primary in Dufftown were both closed today (Tuesday) after widespread snow and winds hit the area.
Tomintoul Primary was then closed at 1pm due to the weather.
While roads around Moray remained open, forecasters were warning of more snow and strong winds later today, and possibly into tomorrow as well.
A Met Office spokesperson said heavy wintry showers may ease for a time, before further sleet and snow showers return to some areas later in the day.
High levels will be worst affected, but even at lower levels, snowfall of 5cm to 10cm has been predicted.
Strong winds of up to 60 mph are also forecast in some areas, while ice is said to be an additional hazard.
