Police are seeking information
POLICE have named an elderly woman who died after being struck by a car near Brodie.
Tammie MacKenzie, 92, who lived in Norway, was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital, in Elgin, following Thursday's incident, which happened on the A96 between Forres and Nairn.
However, she later died from her injuries. The man driving the car was uninjured.
Police, called to the scene at about 9.25pm, are continuing their investigations. Anyone who saw a female walking by the A96 near Brodie around the time of the incident should contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5700.
