Police were called at about 8am
A WOMAN’S body has been pulled from the River Lossie.
She was found at the Sheriffmill area in Elgin this morning.
Grampian Police were called at around 8am.
Investigations are at an early stage, however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
The identity of woman has not been confirmed but she is believed to be Margaret McVey (64) from Elgin.
Known as Meg, Ms McVey was reported missing from Dr Gray’s Hospital yesterday evening.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
