BUCKIE Thistle secured a place in the final of the Highland League Cup with a 3-1 win at Inverurie Locos.
The Jags will play Clach in the final of the Breedon Aggregates-sponsored competition after the Inverness side beat Lossiemouth 5-1.
Buckie got off to a flying start at Harlaw Park and a double from Chris Angus on 9 and 11 minutes put them 2-0 up.
Five minutes into the second half Angus completed his hat-trick to make it 3-0.
Pre-match favourites Locos pulled one back in the 63rd minute with a Neil Gauld penalty but Buckie repelled any fightback to book their final place.
Lossiemouth got off to a great start at Clach when Ryan Green scored after just four minutes.
However, Stephen Mackenzie levelled after 10 minutes and Blair Lawrie put Clach ahead inside 15 minutes.
Paul Brindle and Martin Callum made it 4-1 before half-time and Gordon Morrison added a fifth from the penalty spot six minutes into the second half to wrap up the win.
In the league, Keith were beaten 3-2 at home by Fraserburgh. Grant Noble gave the Broch a half-time lead.
However, two goals in as many minutes from Stuart Massie and Matthew McDonald put the Maroons ahead.
Russell McBride made it 2-2 on 67 minutes before Peter Bruce grabbed the winner in the final minute of normal time.
Rothes went down 3-0 at home to Nairn County. Gary Kerr headed the opener after 16 minutes and second half goals from Conor Gethins and Adam Naismith wrapped up a comfortable win for the visitors.
