The Jags put a six game unbeaten run on the line against the Caithness side on Wednesday night at Victoria Park.

And Macrae said: "I am confident of taking anybody at home because we have only lost once at home this season. Hopefully we can beat or take something off Brora.

"Confidence is good and I think this is the longest we have been unbeaten under Gary (Hake).

After Saturday’s 4-1 win at Rothes, the Jags boss labelled one of their best performances of the season.

However, Buckie will need to step up another gear to dump Davie Kirkwood’s high flyers.

For Macrae, victory over Brora would be a sign of just how well the Jags are progerssing.

"This is probably the most I have enjoyed my football for a long time," he said.

"I think we are just two or three boys away from challenging for trophies.

"If we can cut out the mistakes and maybe add one or two boys in the summer we will be a better side."
