Winger Paul Napier and striker Martin Charlesworth, who both won back-to-back Highland League titles with Jags, have been linked with a move to Deveronvale.

The Victoria Park club confirmed on Wednesday that Napier had refused a fresh deal and said he needed a challenge with a new club.

Charlesworth, who scored in both Buckie’s title winning games in 2010 and 2011, is linked with Vale where his father Charlie is manager and brother Colin recently moved to from Lossiemouth.

Both players came through the skillseeker ranks at Elgin City, and Napier began his career at Aberdeen while Charlesworth was on the books of Ross County and Caley Thistle.

Jags are inviting offers or enquiries for both players through manager Gary Hake or president Garry Farquhar.
