ELGIN City manager Ross Jack has ended speculation surrounding his future at his club by signing a new two-year deal.
The news could give City a lift ahead of Tuesday night's crucial Division 3 match at home to Peterhead.
Talks between Jack and the Borough Briggs club's board had stalled over terms of a new contract for the manager, whose current deal runs out later this year.
But a breakthrough was reached this week, and Jack's new deal was announced by the club on Tuesday morning.
"The directors of Elgin City Football Club are pleased to announce that agreement on a new contract has been reached with the manager, Ross Jack," said the statement.
"This contract will see Ross manage the club over the next two years and build on the improvements made over the past three years.
"The board have given support to the manager's commitment to the consolidation of the first team squad in the club's ambition for promotion and also to his personal involvement in the development of Elgin City youth teams and community activities."
Jack recently celebrated three years in charge at Elgin, making him their longest serving Scottish League boss.
He has been their manager for 129 matches in league and cup competitions, of which they have won 43.
