ELGIN City boss Barry Wilson will visit former club Queen of the South in the Scottish League Cup.
Thursday’s first round draw paired City with a long trip to Dumfries to face the Championship side at Palmerston Park.
Wilson played for Queens between 2008 and 2010, shortly before joining Elgin initally as player/assistant boss.
Two of Queen of the South’s current squad, keeper Zander Clark and centre back Mark Durnan, recently played for Elgin on loan from St Johnstone.
The clubs last met in a Scottish Cup tie at Borough Briggs in January, 2001, which Queens won 1-0.
This year's tie will be played on Saturday, August 2, a week after City kick off their season with a Petrofac Training Cup tie at home to Stirling Albion.
The draw was conducted by former Premiership bosses Danny Lennon and Kenny Shiels at Dumbarton’s Bet Butler Stadium.
